This policy explains what data we collect on borntoroll.xyz, what we use it for, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). A German version is available here.
1. Data controller
The data controller for this website is the operator of Born To Roll, reachable at babespapes@gmail.com.
2. Cookies on this website
We use cookies to run the site technically and, only with your consent, to build anonymised visitor statistics. On your first visit, our cookie banner asks permission before any non-essential cookie is set.

The legal basis for the analytics cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, with future effect, by clicking Change cookie settings below. Without your consent, no analytics or referral cookies are set and no visit data is logged.
3. Server logs
When you access the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, timestamp, page requested) to keep the site running securely. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in a functional and secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not linked to the analytics cookies described above.
4. Contract upload and vehicle valuation
When you upload a purchase contract, the image is sent to Anthropic (Claude AI) for automatic data extraction. We extract only vehicle-related data — make, model, year, mileage, sale price, and date. Names, addresses, and ID/personal data are not stored or evaluated. Before saving, you actively confirm via checkbox that you're entitled to share this contract data and consent to the anonymised data being stored for market analysis (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Any email address you provide is used solely to send you your free valuation report (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), via our email provider Resend. If you optionally provide a phone number, your report may be delivered via WhatsApp through our provider Twilio.
5. Recipients and processors
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — reads contract data from uploaded images/PDFs
- Resend — sends the valuation report by email
- Twilio — optional WhatsApp delivery of the report
- Railway — hosts the website and database
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as a right to object and a right to data portability. Contact babespapes@gmail.com for any of these. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
